More Than Just Buildings: MPH Building Systems’ Commitment to Charity and Community in 2025

At MPH Building Systems, we believe in building more than just innovative modular structures – we are deeply committed to building stronger communities and supporting charity groups that make a real difference. In 2025, we’ve had, and continue to have, the privilege of partnering with some incredible local initiatives and individuals, reflecting our dedication to giving back. Here, we share these causes and hope to raise awareness about each one.

Teeing Up for a Cause: East Midlands Airport Charity Golf Day for Rainbows Hospice

In September, we were honoured to sponsor a hole at the East Midlands Airport’s annual charity golf day on Friday, 26th September at the picturesque Ruddington Grange Golf Club. The event raised £9595.47 for Rainbows Hospice for Children & Young People and MAG Charities. A cause that one of our project partners, Roxanne Butler, the Project Manager at East Midlands Airport, introduced to us. A charity golf day that raised crucial funds for Rainbows Hospice for Children & Young People and their MAG Charities.

Rainbows Hospice for Children & Young People provides invaluable care and support to children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families across the East Midlands. Knowing that our contribution will help such a worthy cause made our involvement in this event particularly meaningful. A fantastic day of golf, networking, and, most importantly, coming together to support those in need.

Why not join us and support this remarkable charity for specialist care and emotional support for babies, children and young people with serious or terminal conditions? Help these young people and their loved ones to enjoy their time together as a family, for as long as they have and tap below to donate now:

Kicking Goals with Grassroots Sports: Supporting a Local Girls Football Team

We are thrilled to continue our support for a local girls’ football team, a partnership that embodies our belief in the power of grassroots sports. As detailed on our website, fostering local talent and providing opportunities for young people to thrive is incredibly important to us. By investing in this team, we hope to empower these young athletes, promote teamwork, and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle within our community.

We’ve been following their progress closely and are incredibly proud of their dedication and sportsmanship. It’s a joy to see our modular building solutions play a small part in supporting their journey, providing them with the facilities they need to succeed.

A Mighty Hike To Support Macmillan Cancer

On the 28th June 2025, Annette from Accounts challenged herself to take on the Yorkshire Dales 26 Mile Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer. She well exceeded her £250 pledge walking the full 26 miles of the Yorkshire Dales with her daughter, and together they raised over £700 for Macmillan Cancer. Thank you so much to everyone who sponsored them .

A great, worthy cause that could provide people living with cancer and their families with essential medical, practical and emotional support. There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK. It’s Macmillan’s goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can’t do this without continued donations.

Standing with Our Own: Supporting John Hartshorn’s “Operation Compass”

Our commitment to our community extends to our valued partners and subcontractors. We were deeply moved by the initiative undertaken by one of our subcontractors, John Hartshorn, through his “Operation Compass” campaign. John’s dedication to making a difference inspired us to contribute to his JustGiving page. His efforts highlight the incredible spirit of generosity within our network, and we were proud to stand alongside him in supporting a cause close to his heart and many of our hearts. It’s a testament to the fact that our relationships within the construction industry go beyond projects; they are built on mutual respect and a shared desire to make a positive impact.

MPH Building Systems Continues To Support Local Charities

At MPH Building Systems, these sponsorships and donations are more than just a corporate responsibility; they are a reflection of our values and our commitment to being a positive force in the communities we serve. We look forward to continuing these partnerships and exploring new opportunities to give back in the years to come.

Our commitment to community and collaboration doesn’t end here. We believe that by working together with our local partners – our clients, suppliers, and subcontractors – we can achieve even greater things. If you are a local partner with a charitable cause or community event close to your heart, we encourage you to reach out. We are always open to exploring new ways we can lend our support and contribute to the well-being of the communities we are proud to be a part of. Let’s continue to build a better future, together.
