Our seven step guide to working with MPH

1. Enquiry

Complete the online enquiry form here, or telephone 01484 430518 to discuss your requirements in detail.

2. Design

Once a project brief has been established from the initial concept, modular building plans are drawn up by our dedicated design team based upon the information provided. Detailed site surveys are commissioned where required to determine access requirements etc. All proposed designs are subject to local authority Planning permission approval.

3. Quotation

Quotations are produced by our estimating team detailing all qualifications, exclusions and assumptions. Budget quotations are issued for initial stage enquiries with detailed quotations provided for more advanced stage projects. All quotations are subject to Building Regulations compliance and Fire Officer approval etc.

4. Order Confirmation

Subject to Planning Permission, Building Control approval and energy assessment calculations, an order is placed and contracts are finalised upon agreement of detailed production designs, a scheduled build phase programme and quotation. An official Order Confirmation is issued to determine specifications, colours and finishes etc.

5. Production

Materials are procured and the construction process is undertaken off-site in a controlled production environment. Ahead of planned delivery, enabling groundworks including foundation sub-structure and below ground drainage works commence on-site, scheduled in tandem with the manufacturing phase.

6. Delivery & Installation

Units are delivered to site from our production base on articulated vehicles and positioned onto pre-prepared foundation bases by our specialist installation team. Final services connections and all external and internal works are completed on site prior to handover.

7. Handover

As the new modular buildings are prepared for occupation, Operating & Maintenance Manuals (O&M Manuals) are issued upon project completion detailing all components, electrical and mechanical certification, future maintenance schedules, as-built record drawings and supplier contact directory. Energy assessment documentation and Building Regulations certification of compliance are also obtained.
