Concept to installation, watch above and allow us to walk you through the finished modular changing room unit for Rastrick High School in West Yorkshire. A project completed in partnership with Rastrick Juniors FC, Clifton Rangers Youth FC, Halifax Town and Huddersfield Town Football Club.

Supported by West Riding FA and the Football Foundation, Rastrick High School in Brighouse led an exciting project which has delivered a new, state-of-the-art 3G AstroTurf pitch and changing rooms for the local community to use.

MPH was appointed to provide changing room facilities consisting of 2 changing areas and officials’ changing areas.

Specification Of Sustainable Changing Room Building

  • Single-storey prefabricated building
  • 2 changing rooms with fitted wooden changing benches, raised hanging hooks and cubicle showers
  • Separate referees changing room for officials
  • Air conditioning and heat pumps
  • LED efficient lighting is installed throughout
  • Full electrics and plumbing installations and certifications
  • WC facilities
  • Durable-wearing, slip-resistant safety flooring throughout
  • External green walls and grey trim to tone aesthetically with the 3G astroturf

Planning Application Usage For Modular Changing Rooms

Daytime usage will consist of the school programme and fixtures up to around 5 pm. After 5 pm and on the weekends, the focus will mainly be community use, including the HTF Wildcats, HTF Kicks Disability, Clifton Rangers Use, Rastrick Junior FC, Huddersfield Town Foundation, WRFCA, FC Halifax and Leisure Leagues.

The new changing room building will significantly enhance the attractiveness of the AGP by providing somewhere for teams to change and will encourage more community teams to use the facility.
